Timing

Anyone know Toyota timing specs for a carbed motor? Like how many degrees advanced or retarded at TDC. I need to set it up close so I can test fire the motor and fine tune it and break it in. Right now I have it set at 0 degrees at TDC.

just leave it a zero or advance it alittle a move the distributer to change timing.

That site seems a little extreme. Someone told me 8 degrees retarded, now I'm not so sure.

seth to start go about 5 degrees past tdc. if you are running vaccuum advance and it is hooked up you should be at final mark about 10 degrees advance at idle and 15-20 at full throttle.
