Chopper style gas cap

Does anyone have a tech on installing the pop up style gas cap on to a chevy truck/suv? Also will this cause the engine light to come on because it isnt a vented locking gas cap?

also depending ont he year of your rid, yes it will cause the check engine light to come on

I have one on my civic. I dunno about putting it in, but the engine light does not come on. Everything works fine.

I just bought one with the weld in ring expensive but it took the guess work out of it.

Your civic looks sick.Do you just run a filler neck from the ring to the tank?

Hey, you know if you unibodydrop it your gonna have to relocate the filler unless you get smaller wheels, I love your car though!

you have a pic?Im not sure its the same as a chopper style one.

I installed one on my chopper, no check engine light, then again I never had one? Usually then come with a metal ring that has a vent tube on it, I got mine from Matt Hotch and it came with one

I am not sure on all the details. A small shop around here called quincy's Kuztoms did all the work to my car.
