Does anyone know of a way to keep the stock nissan HB hood with a bodydrop. And if not, any one got any good ideas on how to do the hood as far as a cowl or bubble?

anything up to 3" just have to take the plastic top off the filter and get rid of the studs holding it down, the hood will hold your filter on just fine, held mine for over a year....3.5" you may have to trim some hood supports....anything more then, and dont want a hole in your hood you have to get creative....my trucks bd'd 6" with a completely stock hood, didnt even cut hood supports. well not for the motor anyhow, cut them for the wheels.

i had a 3.5" body drop with the ka24e, just had to take off the plastic air filter crap and use only the air filter itself, and trim down the two studs that hold the filter down.

You could always swap the intake manifold with one from a 240sx.

i lowered my motor, and had to take a small section out of the right side of the oil pan to clear the frame and a 240 intake manifold
