Tranny Problem Automatic

i got a 93 yota. it wont go into overdrive for some odd reason. and ideas? any way i can ground a wire for overdrive to work all the time?

i know one time i was working at the shop and this guy grounded a wire and overdrive worked. just couldnt turn overdrive off.

i got a problem with my overdrive. one day my truck wouldnt just go into overdrive no matter what i did or how fast i went.

what would cause this to happen?

and is there anyway i can make it stay in overdrive? like bypass the switch to turn overdrive on and off?

nvm...fixed it i just did it the "Ghetto" way and pulled my o-ring off and now i have overdrive. looks like my solenoid went bad. gotta switch it it soon
