I have 2 Alpine SWS-1223D subs and it calls for 300rms and 900peak I want a Apline amp that will push at least 400 to each sub but dont want a 2 channel amp, is this possible to do ? What amp will do it, dont like mix matching audio want to stay with Alpine any help would be appreciated........

I just looked at crutchfield and they don't show one that will do what you want. why do you not want a 2 channel amp. even if they did make one you would have to bridge it making it like a 2 channel anyway. the alpine mrp850 will give you 800 watts at 2ohms, so if you wired each individual sub in series then wired them together in paralell I think that would give you a 2 ohm load. then you could use that amp and only spend 400. don't quote me but I think it will work. hope that helps man

dvc 4's (a pair) can be wired to 1 ohm and 4 ohm.

dvc 2's (a pair) can be wired .5 and 2

thats your more general voice coil configurations, so depending what you have, find an amp that suits your needs. I know there is an alpine that does ~1000 watts, but why do you want alpine? They are up there with JL for "equipment way over priced". Good stuff, but can be equaled with a lower priced (same quality) amp.

ALPINE MRPF650 i believe is the model number.. its a mono block

might not be the right series


why DONT you want a 2 channel? please dont tell me u want a 4 channel so you can bridge the other 2 channels for door speakers.. lol

hey man you want a good alpine amp with plenty of power go with the pdx 1.1000 its a 1000 watt mono block with fully digital processing and stackable with two or four channel
bottom line... bad a$$ amp if you have any questions about it feel free to ask if i dont know it ill call our alpine rep
