It is true those engines have problems with "crank walk". I dont know if anyone has came up with a fix for the problem yet. But i do know you can do a first gen eclipse 4G63 engine which doesnt have this problem and is a better platform for making power. Buschur is the company to see for info on a "1g" swap. I know a kid that blew his first engine in his 97 GSX (same engine just awd platform) so he went to the dealer and got a brand new engine put in. Not even a year and a half later the new motor spun the bearings so bad the block was fucked. So at this point he was pissed and did the "1g swap" to fix the problem. the car has been on the road for a year or two and gets whipped on all the time with no problems. So i wouldnt suggest putting the same engine back in if you plan on beating on it. hopefully that helps.

www.vfaq.com has all your answers, I had a 91 GSX AWD with some goodies and this site helped me out alot.... stay away from 2nd gens, unless it already has a 6 bolt in it. 7 bolt=crap

wow im seeing these responses a little late. lol. its too late to say no, i traded my mustang for it already. i drove all the way up to south carolina from florida and id say it was well worth it. i just rolled over 100,000 miles the other day. i got rid of the mustang at a good time i guess, i talked to the guy and he said hes having small electrical problems with it. its a 96 gst (2g). ill post pics later
