fuel cell set up question

just wondering what everyone is doin to set up their truck for a fuel cell using the factory fuel pump assembly if possible post up some pictures any help would be great !!
looking for ideas and what to buy so i can get my gas tank out of my bed !!

do what i did, I took a 19 gallon rci cell, then made a 1/4" spacer which was drilled and tapped, and then i made another that fit on top of the pump to clamp it down.

i did the same thing just cut your assembly out of your factory tank and shorten the plumbing on the inside and cut a hole in the fuel cell and bolt it to it

i havent even taken out the factory fuel pump yet i have my factory gas tank in the bed held down with a tow strap lol so i havent looked at it anyone have a pic of the assembly out and what to shorten ?
i dont know if its that same but i have a 02 dakota

once you take it out and get a good look at it you will understand. Pictures are useless.

just wondering also you have a ram i have a dakota different fuel pump i dont think that will work maybe im wrong

the dak fuel pump is almost identical, i actually used fittings from a dak pump on mine.

ooh ok sweet so you dont have any pictures of you mounting thet pump and whats under the mounting plate ..... i just bought a rci 20 gal fuel cell from summit i want to do it right not mess it up

sorry for so many questions ill fell more comfortable if i know a lil instead of jumping right in and phuckin it up i drive my truck daily so i have to do it in like a weekend

whats the depth of the cell? thats a biggie you need to know

i got the 19 because it was 12" deep. This meant that my bottom spacer was only .25" thick. but the shallower the tank the taller of a spacer you need to weld in. There isnt much to see about it
