painting airbag cover

wondering how to get it off and put it back on. the airbag cover on the passagers side

don't know if they actually come off, just tape everything off and paint that way. A lot safer and easier.

your air bag and the cover come out as one piece there is 3 bolts under your glove box door so take that off and i think 3 on top so you have to take your top dash piece too and it clips around the airbag fixture and it comes off too just disconnect your battery and unplug it , after you get the cover off the air bag ....blow the air bag up with a battery so whoever is stiiting in the passangers side doesnt get plastered with fiberglass in a wreck if your going to smooth it out
