hey got a 88 toyota pickup.. 22r engine just wandeing how i could remove the ac and the smog pump?? need the room?? but there is alot of hoses so i really dont know what to do with them all?thanks

grab yourself a hanes manual and go through one hsoe at a time, just read what each one is for and decide if you want to keep it or not.

get a manual worth a fuck www.helmsinc.com hanes and chiltons are a waste of paper. especially for yota's.

the a/c is pretty straight forward, you can just remove everything that has to do with it and cap the lines that go into the cab. when you remove the bracket though you can either cut the bolts shorter or get different ones to put back in the motor so the timing chain cover doesnt leak. i just cut mine. i pulled all mine out about a month ago. the little raiator deal, and a few other lines..it was easy. as far as the smog pump goes i dont know, i have the same year truck with the same motor and mine didnt have a smog pump...
