hey guys, i'm just curious what kind of market is out there for lowering a '65 Caddy? i know there's the bags option, but that probably won't be possible for now...anybody know how much a bag setup would cost for it? What about lowering springs, or what would the best route be for lowering? i've found '65 convertible that i'd love to get, but i'm not familiar with what's out there aftermarket-wise...since this is a classic, i know parts are limited, but i'd love to lower it if i'm able to purchase it...so, what are my options? Thanks for any help!

bag setup shouldnt be overly expensive since it is already 4 linked. However just lowering Im not sure if anyone sells springs.

i lowered the front of my 3 inches by cutting down the coils and bagged the rear. i spent about a grand on a decent setup for my caddy. thats everything for the front also.

my friend has a '66 caddy convertible and he had our local muffler shop heat the springs up and it dropped about 3",it took about 2 hours and it cost about 60 bucks! they didnt have to take the suspension apart or anything, the weight of the car laid it out and it rides the same, old school but it works and it looks good.

so, a grand for the front & back bagged? or were you meaning a grand with the front coils cut and rear bags?
