Watts link help fast!!!!

I am putting a watts link on my 04 f150. My trucks rearend is longer on one side of the pod than the other. My question is is the crank on the watts link suppose to be in the center of the axle or the center of the pod? Also are the bars suppose to be at the exact same angle as each other?

Not positive but I believe it should be centered so both bars are the same length. it should be set up so that the bars a level with the ground at ride height.

the one bar will have to be set longer, or the axle will not be centered in the frame, and the truck will dog track.

where did you get a watts link for a ford?I tried totally polished.They say they are not producing any more.

The arms should be the same length and should be parallel to the ground at half travel. The crank can be slighlty clocked, but how much depends on how long the crank is (don't worry too much about this.) If you need to center the crank on the rearend, look at possibly mounting it to the frame and attach the bars to the rearend.

Totally Polished are in the process of finalizing production again. There were some issues with vendor items. They are moving the polishing inhouse to solve one of the main stumbling blocks. The kits should be shipping soon.

I hope they start production soon.The panhard from kp started bending my frame.Because of this problem my truck would be a trailer queen only.I like to drive my truck to shows that are close.Rather than do additional damage we have put the truck in storage.

my buddy has a watts link for his ford but hasnt put it on yet

i need one pretty bad myself. where can you get one besides TP? i called KP bt they dont have one i production yet, only chevy. i ordered a parallel 4-link just so i could run a watts that way i dont have to mess with my gas tank and now i cant find anywhere to get one
