Hi everyone. I'm ready to give up. The story so far, B2200 completely rebuilt, full short block, new head, new dist., plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some other stuff. Truck was always hard to start. I was driving a truck, so the Maz was only getting driven about every 2 to 3 weeks. I'd come in, have to crank on it for a minute or two, but it'd start. Last time I come in, it would turn over, but wouldn't start. Tried pouring in some gas (to make sure it wasn't fuel pump), but it still didn't crank. Outta frustation, I said fuck it, and left it alone for a month or two. Finally got ready to mess with it. I have no spark. Changed coil, got very little spark straight outta the coil. WTF is up with this thing. I'm ready to burn the POS. This things been a damned nightmare since I got it. Shoulda bought the Nissan I looked at instead.

I'm thinking of v8ing it and sinking even more damned money into it. Where can you find SBC mounts. Ultimatecustoms.ca is down. What other obstacles are there to putting a SBC into this POS.

www.nolimitscustoms.com has the Mazda SBC mounts. And you might as well have fun with the thing. I'm putting in a 302 instead of changing the clutch in my mazda.

Where is that located on the truck? I thought it was inside the distributor, but the pics on Advance auto's page don't look like it.
