project fleetline

hey guys, heres my latest project, had it for about 10 years, finnally getting around to work on it, what is your ideas, or suggestions on colors and drivetrain? It still has the stock 216.5 strait 6, 6 volt set up..... this is just my opinion, but those bomb cars need dro's, spokes, and a smooth clean paint job. they are SICK cars. if thats not your whole cup of tea, they i say bag on some white walls and be done. make it solid of course.

i would try and keep it with a similar two tone because it looks so pimp but i would bag it and throw some nice rims on it and clean paint i wouldnt shave anything at all just kinda like a resto oh yea and i would do a chop

i vote you delete the side windows in the back. (thats my opinion because i dont like them) bag it, shave everything shave the whole trunk. white walls on some classic looking but chrome rims. and call it a day, lol.

hell maybe a 350. with some beefy rear tires but still white walls.

good to hear you want to keep it 6-cyl. powered. stay away from the 216 and go for a 235 or 260. those engines are really reliable and you can find speed parts for them to beef them up a bit. definitely bag it or put hydros on it, don't chop it please. it looks nice with the 2-tone paint as it is. good luck with it and keep us posted on the progress.

dont chop it. it looks chopped as it sits already.

id just bag it & roll out looks like a clean car
