help please

my dad has an rv toyota that has a 22r motor is an 1987 the truck was not charging we change the alternator and battery and still it does aint charge what could it be..thanks

check all the grounds for corrosion and bad connections. Check all the wires,fusible links, and fuses with an ohm meter to make sure they have continuity. Not sure if the alternators are internally regulated, or external, but that's something to look into.

Early 80s 22r had external voltage regulator, mounted on the driver side fender well. Have the regulator check.
