i called weber warehouse today too order a weber and he said that it wont work on my truck cause my truck is a automatic.....anyone else on here runnin a weber on there automatic b2200

i got an 89 mazda b2200 automatic and i have a weber on it. worked fine. the header i came into a prob with hitting but i got that fixed.

LMAO YEAH RIGHT....It works...Fits and run amazing, starts everytry...I have an 88 b2200 with a webber on it...Never had a problem....ever...And its an auto...so they are full of it, I ordered mine through them, so call them back and talk to someone else...That guy just musta been an idiot

there is an idle up solenoid on the factory automatic carb, so that the carb idles up when you put it in gear. It is no different than the AC idel up dashpots they sell for weber carbs so the idle goes up when you turn on the AC.

Its not that he is lying to you or is a dumbass or anything, he just doesnt know. Most guys familiar with V8's remember vacuum kickdown cables for auto trans and dont realize the mazda trans doesnt have that.

I had an automatic trans b2200 with a weber carb, worked great.

My wife has an 87 automatic and it runs fine with a weber and headers.
