tryin to do a flip kit on 84 chevy c10 ..the bolts with the shackles and hangers where the leaf is held are stuck ..any suggestions???

what seth said or try some wd40 or pbblaster if theyre rusted stuck.

spray them with krohl oil or another wd40 type spray, then beat on em with a hammer to loosen them a little, hit the head of the bolt slightly to the side(yes im serious)

you can also heat up the nut with a torch to expand it

ive been soaking it in krohl oil sprayed the hell out of it.. can i just cut the head off and hammer it thru and just put a new one in ?

Thats what I was implying. A flip kit should have new U-bolts anyways. You're supposed to replace them every time you remove them anyway, since theyr're considered stretch bolts.

well i tried to heat with a torch and soaked it didnt work ,so im just gonna buy new bolts , and try to cut them out 2morrow,its just a bitch from that gas tank, thanks for the help
