hey would a 20 inch wheel with a +35 offset be enough offset to tuck on a bagged 92 dakota
nvrhapy   +1y
so nobody has an idea????

no they wont. dakotas need at least +45mm offset or 6.5 inches of backspacing to tuck and clear. i got some 20's for sale but they are only like +21mm.

Back space is not the only number you need to know. You also need to know how wide the wheel is for back space and offset to mean anything.

Cause if it is a 10.5 wide i dont think 6.5 BS would be enough.

i was looking at a couple rims 20x8.5 with a +35 and a 18x7.5 with +38 but i need no less than +45 to tuck????? thats really high!

okay more specifically, 20x8.5 with +35 i doubt it will tuck with no modification to the front suspension. 18x7.5 with +38 will probably fit. just find some dakotas on here with the size of wheels you are thinkin of runnin and ask them what backspacing theyre runnin and what they did to theyre setup. some run factory arms with cups some run shortend control arms.

and yeah thats really high offset. dakotas have a really wide suspesion for some reason. what you might want to do is put in a different front clip like off a toyota or something that way it will narrow the suspension and change the lug pattern to somethin more popular like 5 lug. if you want to go that route...
