Brake issues

I have a '90 B2200 and I'm having some issues with the brakes. At first the brake pedal was a little bit soft, but I also had a leak a the rear brake. I figured once I fixed that it the problem would be fixed. Hoever now it's even worse and the brake pedal has no pressure until about the last inch, although it will still stop the truck. Do I just need to try bleeding the brakes better or is there a certain part of the system I should look at for problems?
