OBS Chevy Dually

looking to buy me one. for towing and everyday driving. would I be better off buying a gas or diesel? Like 1994-2000 model. ex cab with 3rd door..

6.5 turbo diesels are know to blow head gaskets so id get a gas motor

what kind of gas miledge can i expect out of each also?

go with gas in that year range. i have a 2000 that gets about 10mpg city and 12 hwy. pulling a loaded trailer it gets about 10-11 on the hwy. it only gets worse the heavier your foot is.

well my dodge tow pig i got now only gets about 4-5, so that will be a big improvement either way.

I have a 98 and it gets 10 to 12 around town and about 14 on the highway until I put the Dodge behind it and it drop to around 10...

Check out my dually. It gets 8 with the wedge on it but i have some work done to the truck.
