Hmmm, for some reason my previous post regarding this didn't show up. Anyway, just tossed up pics of what my friends did to my Nissan 240SX convertible the other weekend while they were bored... I was working on my Q45 and told them to go ahead and take the convertible over to their shop next door. Couple hours later they came back with:
Then I was feeling semi-productive the other day...
Still just messing around, fleshing out some design ideas for the flares... and just hoping I actually finish this project instead of having it end up in storage like, well, another project did for now. Ultimate goal for the stance is to have it touch ground at full down... ride height will be about 3.25" up. Fenders will be radiused to just tuck tire tread at ride height, so that at full down they will just barely tuck rim (that will definitely confuse people as to why it's on the ground, yet the wheels aren't all super sunken in the fenders). Still tempted to do the fenders, f and r, in steel, but I know I won't have to skill to make them as perfect as I'd like, esp after I threw away my e-wheel/planishing hammer frame during a recent move, so fiberglass is definitely looking mighty attractive (and with my laziness I'll probably never finish the steel ones)...
