Con: Crappy ride, crappy lift

They don't ride that bad. Just they only ride good like an inch or two off the ground. Up higher and it gets real stiff. Same with bag over axle, except it gets stiff at a lot higher lift. Like 10", rather than 4".

pros: easy to set up and hard to screw up the install as well. Pretty light on the parts bill as well. You can fab up all the parts you will need for real cheap if you're handy. cons: limited lift coupled with a mediocore ride when using a double convolute style bag. You have to run low PSI to get a good ride which equals a low ride height in the rear. Add this to a higher ride height in the front to clear the fenders with large wheels or a BD and in equals mangled roll pan. The easiest solution is to run a sleeve style bag in the rear which will give you some ground clearance while still riding decent. I had my Mazda set up with 2600 LB Firestones over the axle and I was never really impressed with the ride I got out of it. If I could do it over again I would use the F9000 firestone sleeves in the rear. Hope this helps you out a bit anyways.

Over axle:

Rode pretty good on my mono leaf set up, Not sure about my 4 link. I ran 2600lb firestones out back.

I know sleeves are supposed to ride good over axle, and larger bags ride better because you can use lower pressure for the same lift.

Cons-

Limited amount of lift, but should be more than enough for most people.

Bags on bars?????
Couldn't tell ya.

It all comes down to using the proper bag in the proper setup. If you do bag-over-axle with F9000 sleeve bags the ride is awesome, and you get around 8-10" of lift out of it.

Cons: Rides like complete shit.
No one ever wants to rid in your bucket because they get sea sick
You'll need dialysis from your kidneys getting beat up by the ride

Pros: You aren't static dropped

I'm getting rid of my over axle setup very soon.

Try to find someoen who has F9000's in the back of their truck, and take a ride in it. The ride is very different compared to, say, a 2600....
