I found this guy on craigslist and hes thinkin about trading for my accord... Its an 86 mazda what do you guys think. He said it needs carpet paint and a tune up..im sure my car books for a lot more than this truck would it be dumb to trade?

the truck looks Ok, but remember that its the quality job what makes the difference,and what dos have under, hwat comp, valves and all that stuff.

check out allll the welds. make sure that is will pass any inspections... smog? check the radiator make sure it doesnt have oil in it(blown head gasket) if you can ask where he had all the work done and check out the shop yourself if you can.

check out that ragtop cause a leaky ragtop plus an everyday driver = no good, and the welds like rolando said.

i would be weary of that rear setup. looks like its behind the axle. doesnt look to be any bars, or maybe those 2 way at the outside...

its not a forward setup anyways, may even be monoleaf. not that it really matters if you are planning to change it.

its definatly not monoleafed you can see 2 of the bars . look like its a 50/50 setup to me. it doesnt look like it would be a reverse really either. the bags are in the back so its nothin bad against that

I personally wouldn't, just because you know the work that went into your Accord, and his Mazda could be a total surprise underneath. And its really not easy to just have a look at the outside to see how things are done. That, and its just another Mazda
