Static Dropping?

A buddy of mine was talking about static drops but I'm not exactly sure how to do that. Can anyone tell me?

by using NON adjustable parts to lower your truck, ie spindles, coil springs, shackles, lowering blocks, de-arched leaf springs, ball joint spacers, and a lil twist of a torsion bar

Is there a way to heat coils to lower?

yes but i wouldnt recomend it unless you've done it. because most people heat them to where they want them to sit then comeout and see it the next day and 1 side is itwo inches lower.
