i have an 06 ford f150 what kind of prep work has to be done to the dash do i need an adhesion promoter

sand with 80 grit, spray with bulldog plastic adhesion promoter, then primer then the paint, then clear. with of course all of the usual wet sanding and such that is involved with priming and painting.

IF YOU DONT WANT TO SHAVE NOTHING THEN JUST SAND IT WITH 180 THEN SAND IT WITH 220 THEN SPRAY SOME (BULLDOG) IT HELPS THE PRIMER STICK TO THE DASH.... AFTER YOU SPRAYED THE BULL DOG THE SPRAY OME 2K PRIMER AND BIULD IT UP TILL YOU CANT SEE NO MORE TEXTURE...I AM NOT SAYING THAT IS THE RIGHT WAY OF DOING IT BUT IT HAS WORKED FOR ME BEFOR
