smooth door panels

how is everyone doing straight smooth door panels in a 88-98 fullsize chevy i need ideas and how too

no body knows how i need help please

depends on year and also what type of chevy you got, you know like power windows, locks ect. on like a 94 and back with power windows you would just take the arm rest off and take the bottom pocket off and then fiberglass over the door panel to make it smooth after you removed any cloth material or foam backing that is on it, on the newer ones with power that would be some work if it had power windows cause the arm rest is all one piece all the way across would be alot of cutting and filling in involved in that.

or you could always just make your own panel since you want it to be smooth, like sheet metal, lay your factory panel on some sheet metal and draw it out, you would have to roll the top of it though to make it wrap over the door where the window gasket is if you wanted it to go up there.
