have you recently took your bed off? if you have did you reground your pump? theres a ground that goes back to where the tail light grounds are that has to be taken off in order to take the bed off.

the fuel pump should run for a second then shut off until you crank it. I'm not syaing that you dont know this, but lots of people I know thought they had a fuel pump problem and it turned out the fuel pump was working and the ignition was not.

he said it is all connected. when he goes to start his truck the only thing that is working are the interior lights. no headlights or taillights. nothing except the inside lights.

there is a power distributor piece on the drivers side fender under a black plastic piece.. make sure all of that is wired up right. there are a few wires, some posts have 1 wire, some have a red and black wire.. some have 2 reds if i remember right.

antoher thing to check is the wiring block at the firewall.. it screws togther and it has to be tight with the bolt in the middle firmly tight, holding the interior side and the exterior side of the main harness together.

just pray he has turn signals and shit when he figures it out.. turnsignal swtiches, a big box in the column, go out all the time per the dealer and autozone told me, 450 a pop.. had one go out after bding a truck one time 4-5 years ago.

does the white clip on top of the computer is it suppose to have power cause his doesn't

yes.. the white clip is what has the fuel pump wiring in it. he really just needs to double check everything and see where its dead at. I have had problems in the area I described above. Tell him to goto the local dealership, most of the time, the service department will photocopy the wiring harness layout of the fuel system or anything you need for free.. Ours do.

I have all of my grounds hooked up on the truck. That white clip on the top of the computer does not have any power at all. The headlights, taillights or basically anything on the outside of the truck does not work.

Is that power distributer you are talking about, is it a black platic piece that has power wires coming off of it and going into harnesses and all? If so mine is hooked up and has power on everything..

I did find a wire that when I have the key turned and I touch the wire one of the little black relays on the firewall makes a buzzing noise and the test light is flickering and real dim like it only has like half power or something?
