no it comes out of the lower hose port into the radiator... just has a weird bend in it, thats why i used a flexhose.... or are u talking about the upper one thats really short ? not on the very top of the motor, but the one thats RIGHT next to the alternator? if so.. that one i used a stock radiator hose with a 90 deg. bend in it, cut off the ends to how long i needed it, and used chrome caps over the ends for show.... hope that helps

So thats somewhat factory? Because mine goes forward over the alternator, and then down over the fan blades on the alternator.

Seth, there is a metal pipe that bolts to the block on the 22r motors to make the hose go behind the alternator. Then there is a small hose that connects it to the bottom part of the radiator and then another hose that connects it to the water pump.

OH

I thought this was a thread about toyota motors? Whats with all the NON TOYOTA motors in here?

Well I'm going to have to get a radiator hose setup from a 22R.

And remember I have a 20R. Things were different in the 70s.
