Short version - I need to replace my day time running light sensor, which on Chevy's is right in the center front of the dash.

I've check other threads on other forums, but have any of you done so on a Chevy before?

Anything would be appreciated!

I took the cover off an Escalade so its very similar. Its not that bad. Do you have a handle on the Pass side like the escalades do? If so, that has to be removed from the inside of the dash if I remember correctly. The rest of the screws need to be accesses after removing all the trims and cluster bezel.. Just take your time.

Yeah there is that handle right above the air-bag. I get to the handle through the AC vents, right?

^^ yep, remove both ac vents. they should just pop out. And when you get those out, there will be a little white plastic piece. I got a flat head screw driver and pressed down on the white piece and pull out on the handle. You will have one on each side

oh, and to remove sensor, you have to twist it out of dash cover

Good lookin out Ken! Another Ken I know from Acro from San Diego says it should take about 20 minutes from start to finish, even for me...
