Ive ran into a little scenerio with my s dizzle, and i havent heard of anyone else running into this problem excpet for on fullsize chevys

i BD my truck 3.5 traditional and as u can see in the picture, my steering smacks the shit out of my upper c arm and my exhaust manifold. Is there some sort of way i can use u joints to help get around it or what?

You could modify your control arms!

Ya i was thinking about that, but i thought i would hear other possible solutions before hackin away. Plus it hits my exhaust manifold as well.

ahhhhhh that lil problemo ,, mine is 3.5" aswell i modified the spring closest to the firewall and put in a shorter bolt for the exhaust aswell trimmed a lil off of that flange mount ,, my control arm does hit it when layd fully out but does not put intense pressure on it if you trim that stuff up,leave the arm ,, you will find you can mob that fucker straighter then a arrow barley off the ground for ever with out touching the steering wheel cuz it sorta holds it in position

ditch the huge factory knuckle and get a smaller swivel. i would just make a new steering shaft useing flaming rivers u joints and such. look them up at jegs or summit. that would do the trick. but as far as it rubbing on the manifold.... im not sure. it cleared my4.3tbi. what engine do you have?
