I have to agree with Bobby. I first got into minitrucks and custom compacts in about 1986-87 and deep into it in about 1991. If you weren't around the scene back in those days, then no amount of explaining will make you understand how cool and laid back it was. Before SSM and the "internet car hobby", the only way to meet other minitruckers was to get out, drive your truck and go to shows.

I too agree that everything has changed so much. If you saw anything on a trailer it was
like OMG whats that!! I remember going to a show in Myrtle Beach, SC back in 88 & seeing
my first mini-truck with juice & meltdown paint job! I was in love & have been in the scene since then!

thats how me and you met james! still friends 15 years later! and me and bobby have known each other for about that long! nice to see you old farts chiming in! these yungins just dont have a clue! no one ever acted like a dick or shit talked for no reason either! and the minis werent cookie cutter!

So ive looked and looked, and i cannot find a truxarossa kit. did i not look hard enough? there has to be some kits somewhere! anyone have any info?

Here are a couple flics I scanned in on the shitty B/W scanner at my job of some of my old trucks back when I started with this stuff..Upper right: My first truck back in 89 (D-50)upper Left: My Hardbody in 97Lower pics: My Blazer befroe and after I painted it around 92



Again I apoligize about the shitty scan, but it does make them look more Vintage!!

^^ that was on craigslist a while back for about 3/4 of that price! if im not mistankin the guy was asking like $2500.00 for it on craigslist.
