Alright heres the deal. I took my fenders off to remove the inner fenders so i could clear my rims. Well after putting everything back together my gauge cluster is not working. Not a single thing works not even the mileage shows up. I checked every fuse and every gound that i could find. I guess what im asking is there anything i really should be looking for that could be causeing this problem. anyhelp is great ive been on it for 2days and cant figure it out. the truck is a 97 with the 5.2 if that helps.Oh another thing the dome light stoped working to so it weird

It honestly sounds like your missing a ground wire somewhere, but that's just a guess at this point.

Either a ground/power wire didn't get reattached or a wire is cut/pinched. Also maybe a fuse is blown.

i know that on 3.9 there is a ground on the driver fender might want to check that

yeh i found the problem, it was a fuse so im kicking myself in the ass on this one. The fuse had like a plastic gaurd on it so i didnt pay much attention to it i guess. but i looked up the labeling to the fuse and it said I.O.D. Go figure Instruments On Dash i guess but anyways thatnks for the help like always
