anyone know how to make a back seat of a decent size fit in a 2 door blazer, 2002 model. It is a buddy of mine who owns the truck, its bagged but not body dropped. It's got one ungodly tub in it, and I am trying to get him to take it somewhere who can shape the rear floor to clear the links and shit when layed out, but not take up the whole back. This would allow a better chance of getting back seats in, but does anyone have some tips for him? He is being told it's not going to happen, but I beg to differe on this matter.

Well...we just finished my friends blazer. It's a 4 door, and it's bagged in the front and rear. We built a half-wall in the back over the notches. Kinda like a raised floor. The back seats wouldn't fit in his because of the driveshaft tunnel. Now, on a 2 door...I know shane has back seats in his 2 door Jimmy. It's a backseat out of a Jeep. You know...just the solid bench seat, with some fabbed brackets for it to sit right. But it works great in his, and it's bodydropped on 22's.

yah, i know he has that in his ride, and this kid is just being told it cant be done. I am trying to get it into his head that it may just be more work than the person wants to do.

Re shape the floor,, I had a back seat in my jimmy and it was done on 20's, and I have a back seat for my blazer now, and its doored on 18's.... It can be done with the 1st gen, I dont see why It coundn't with the 2nd.... Scrape-n-customs did a 96 4 dr. blazer to the rocker on 20's and it had all factory Interior in it even rear plastics, I know a chick owns it now In Tampa and Its all red, I will try and find some pics of it for you

There's plenty of 2nd gen. 2dr. blazers that are laying frame on 20's and still have the backseats. Some have had to cut the seats and redo some of the bracketry though. You don't have to reshape the floor at all. Just keep everything as low as possible when bagging it. I've yet to see one on 22's and still have the backseats other than shane's bd'd jimmy, wich was all customized. Why have seats back there if no one can fit in them?

i had an 02 that was layed on 22s in the back..

JEEP seats are the answer.. or be custom and have some custom built
