I want to remove the power steering system on my honda. If I just remove the pump and belt, Is there any problems that it will cause with the steering itself??

steering gearboxes that are "power" have the fluid inside them, so when you do what you want to do, they are harder to turn then a non power gear box. you can take yours off, dont plug the hose holes on the gear box, connect them with another peice of hose (youll prolly need to have the new hose made)

when i had my 91 wagon with a h22 in it i took mine off and didnt even plug them. i had a extra steering rack so i wanted to see how long it would last, lasted 5 months and i sold the car, the new owner wrecked it after one week. you just need to find plugs to plug where the lines go in and come out of the rack. you can also find a manual rack for that car at the junk yard, will make it easyer to steer then a power steering settup without the pump
