sounds like you need to narrow your frame or get a different offset wheel. the "bridge" that your shaft is hitting, is not that big a deal. your axle hit your frame, so you notched it. notch your bridge the same way. have a shaft shop change your yoke to the correct one.

which "bridge" are you talking about? the gas tank mount bar? You can cut that off except the little stub that holds the tank if you have added a crossmember over your notch. raise it up an inch to keep your tank from dragging.

Or are you asking about the carrier bearing mount? You can get rid of that one too if you added a crossmember.

The rear swap is not a bolt in, like you found out. Get some spacers to fix the wheel offset and remember to ask FIRST next time. No man is an island, guys here will help.

Just like DAWGPIMP said, notch the crossmember that your driveshaft is hitting and as for the wheels contacting the frame try and find some wheel spacers that will push the wheel out a bit (if you have room before they hit the bed sides again) or you're going to have to narrow the rear frame rails which will be a big job. In that case you may just be better off buying new wheels

I fixed the wheel prob wit 1.25 ADAPTORS not spacers..Yes its the bridge wit the front gas tank mount..I have seen people notch that before..Im thinkin that i am goin to need 2 cut into the cab to lay out is this crazy?..My truck was originally a 2 peice and now its a one peice so my pinion angle is better..

raising you tranny tunnel is necessary with a one piece drive shaft. my roommates old mazda rubbed the tunnel with 195/60/15s on it, so im sure you will need to with 20s. its not too tough. cut, raise till it clears, patch the holes. voila!
