In one of the older issues of Street Trucks they did a tech article where the layed out a supercrew on 20's and extended the frame for a 6foot bed. I believe that Devious Customs did the work on the truck. It was a pretty good walk through on what it takes to lay one of those trucks out, lotsa photos. I have the issue on my desk at work, I'll check the month/year of the mag when I go in tomorrow and post it up for you.

I didn't do my 02 screw myself but in a nut shell here's some of what the shop that did mine did. (in no order)...... 1. Spindle flip, the camber was bad before..... 2. The used the factory arms (upper and lower), put in a Chrysler ball joint and fliped the uppers upside down and oppisite side...... 3. You will need a different brake booster. I used a 98 Explorer booster. The master cylinder bolts right up and my 22's miss it by about 3/4 inch when layed out...... 4. The three wiring harness pluggs on the drivers side will need to be recessed in and the computer relocated...... 5. You will lose the windshield wiper fluid bottle.... 6. The battery will have to be relocated. They put mine behind the front bumper with a place by the hood latch to jump start if needed..... 7. Inside the cab will have to be notched if you keep the factory drive shaft. I did but did not notch the cab. The truck lays frame but the rear is about 1" higher. Kinda gives it a little rake..... 8. Knotch the frame (of corse) and raise the crossmember..... 9. I have a 4 link in the back also......Hope that helps you out a little.

im not sure about laying flat frame, i just finished a guys who lays HARD tranny crossmember, he has djm uppers and lowers, tubbed firewall, stock spindles, torsion bar setup with slam re7s and he is currently having a new driveshaft made but i notched the gas tank x-member for his aluminum one so he would have to tub his floor to lay with alum or i believe a steel one off of an extended cab will work also.. It has ranger like camber up front but he also has 285/35/22s and his pass side tub barely rubs tire layed out because of the blower motor
