ok last night i was on a 4-lane highway at 10:30 at night where the speed limit was 65 and i was going under that. in my truck i have 2 6.5s and 2 4x6s running off the head unit. the volume was half the way up. a cop pulls me over for loud music and finds my proof of insurance was 2 days expired. he gives a ticket for both. he says it will be $380. i was shocked.... my system isnt loud at all.

how much have your loud music tickets been? is there a way to reduce or get out of them?

fyi.... im in Arkansasthanks,

depends on your laws really, but you would be suprised how loud things are with the windows down. dont know if you have turned yours up and walked away til you couldnt hear it. if its a smaller economy car then its even worse as nothing stays inside of them.

You can always go up to the police station and talk to him about it. More times than not cops will atleast listen to your side and possibly help you out. If you tell him you didn't think it would have been a problem half way up on the highway going the speed limit, he may take that all into consideration and atleast give you a break on the fine or something.

Yea you could also go to the prosecutor's office and talk to them. Around here they'll drop stuff especially if you have two tickets. I got a ticket for expired tags and inspection sticker. I went to the prosecutor's office when I got my new registration and reciept for inspection and they dropped the expired tag ticket so I only had to the pay the inspection sticker ticket. It definetly can't hurt anything to go talk to them.
