01 Tahoe to 03 - 06 tchev truck front end

Does anyone know how hard it is to convert from a 01 - 06 tahoe front end to a 03- - 06 sivardao front end. I was told that it was a pretty easy bolt up install. Anyone done it or have any pics.

I'm no expert in front-end switches by any means, but I think it would be new fenders, fenderwells, hood, bumper, radiator core support, grill, & headlights, along with any other mounting pieces & proper bolts.

I was told by someone who has done it that the frame horns are different and the bumper is not a "bolt on". Welding and fab required. I want to do it on my wifes tahoe.

im sure you can get the rite bumper brackets from a dealer the frames the same

the plates welded to the front frame horns on a 03 to 06 are different but if you buy all the bumper brackets for the new bumper it can easily be fabbed to fit.

Street Trucks did a tech article on this in '05 I think. It was on Cope Kesslers red tahoe.
