Loctite?

yeah im trying to do my fbss setup in loctite. im tired of teflon. i ordered 4 of those little bottles from sd. when i was experimenting i put a bead of loctite all the way around the fitting. well 1 bottle did both sides of four fitting or 8 sets of thread... did i use too much? at this rate i cant even do 1/2 my setup thanks....

Just put a little drop on the threads. It will spread itself around. A little bit of loc tite, goes a long, long way.

is it better thatn teflon???can u use both

i got a huge bottle of loctite on ebay really cheap, and its the same kind that SD sells, if you need more of it. Personally, i've tried teflon tape and paste in the past and always had leaks, though it seems to work well for other people. ever since i used the loctite i haven't had any leaks at all. it only takes a little like seth said, just don't put any on the first couple of threads so it doesn't get into your system.

I have put fittings on my old truck as tight as i could get them by HAND and dont have any leaks. It gets messy but its worth it!

Out here you can get it from Lowes and Home Depot.
