84-88 chrome window trim??

does anyone know where to get the windshield & rain gutter chrome trim for 84-88 toys? i'm finally done with my BD & sheetmetal dash & ready to put the windshield back in, but my mouldings are almost 20 years old & the dealer wants to rape me in the process, so is there anywhere online? any help would be greatly appreciated as google isn't much help either...

haha gud look on findin tthat dude,thats exactly wat im looking for i saw it once on ebay a longass time ago,n the dealer wants at least 450 for it,so ya,ima try n scrape the shit off mine,it was originally chrome but has 3 layers n 20yrs of paint on it

Corey, some dealers stil have it in stock but the ones that do have it will stick you for it. They only made the chrome trim for 2 years, SR5 and turbo trucks were the only ones that had it.

The trim itself is nice stainless, if you can get the old paint off with a soft wire wheel and polish it, it looks good.

I got new ones from my dealer at their cost, not using my rain gutter ones, will have the old ones off soon. If you want all e-mail me.

thanks, i'll look into both options you guys threw out there, but zombie, just fyi, mine came stock with it & it's a regular jap bed std cab base model & it had the chrome grille, bumper, window & rain gutter stuff stock. (no turbe or sr5)

Just going off the info that I had been told at the stealership and from what I have seen at the boneyards. I got all my sets from the 4wd forums.

I have several sets worth of corners and vertical pieces but I don't any good/ worthwhile long horizontal pieces. Aside from that I have a set of ext. cab chrome gutter guards i'd be happy to part with.

no sweat, i wasn't calling you a liar or anything...i was just saying what mine came with...i'll get with you & gary because i need it & soon.

we've got an 85 4wd in the shop, it had chrome but the guy had us put on some black. he didnt like the "chrome". its in decent shape, ill see if i can snag it up if anybody wants it.
