You probably don't want to hear this but a really good place to start would be a Weber conversion kit. It is entirly possible that it isn't the carb that it is the problem at all, it could be just about anything thats hooked up to it. The computer controlled carb on your truck now was a terrible idea and is not always easy to diognose problems with either. A Weber conversion will simplify your carberation system about as much as you can get making it easier for you to track problems and cleaning up your underhood area tenfold over what the factory gives you. ALOT of Mazda guys have made the switch, it works great. I'm about to order one for my Toyota, can't wait. Hope this helps you out a bit anyways

i just did this weber conversion and with the pressure regulator you can get out at about $330.00 cleans up under the hood tremendously, gets rid of all those worthless sensors and also about 50 vacuum lines. Now my truck runs so smooth and has more bottom end torgue and mid-range power. just make the switch and save yourself alot of time and hassle. the part number is k675
