Here is a tank that one of my friends has on his GMC. I will ask him where he got it. I'm thinking about doing this anyway also.

Don't mean to steal thread but since you took a pic of it, I wanted to ask question. But does anyone know how to disconnect the hose from that T connection I took my ac & heater out and I'm stuck with open holes from me cutting the hose short

it looks like you're going to have to replace the lower hose with a different one... i would try either a fullsize 350 hose or something similar...

it looks like it's molded which there'd be no easy way to get rid of it.

As far as should it be a pressurized tank? Yes. It looks like with the lower hose located in line like that that they're assuming the entire system is under pressure.

That one pictured on the GMC looks nice, it looks to have a standard radiator pressure cap on it so it would let off at 25lbs or something.

hey, thats mine. I got the tank at Danville Machine Shop, the bad thing though is that they went out of business a couple months ago and I havent seen the owner since then to find out where he got the tanks from. They are used on alot of drag cars and circle track cars from what I understand. I just used a regular radiator cap for it as well.
