just looking for some general info about Pensacola...my girlfriend is awaiting a job offer there, and we're trying to find out some info about the area such as: nice apartment complexes, good neighborhoods, general cost of living, etc...if you are from the area, do you enjoy living there? just looking for any insight...thanks for any info.

lived there for a couple of years when i was a kid. cant help you on cost of living/etc as i dont know cuz i was just a kid but its cool cuz your real close to the Gulf. i visited family when i got a lil older but not as of recently have i been down there. i would say its an overall good place to live though.

yeah, well while i love cars/trucks, i'm not that concerned as far as they go...i'm really more interested in the more important aspects of the area...i've already heard about issues with taxes and insurance...also read some reviews about low wages and not enough job opportunites...keep the info coming though...i'm sure everyone has different opinions

I live in crestview and its about 40 minutes from pensacola. I think itd be a great place to live since they have the civic center. The concerts/hockey games/ and monster truck rallys are all held there and its pretty fun.
