hey guys, i just bought a '66 Coupe Deville last week and i'm looking for any advice on how to bag these cars the right way. i've been told that all i need is cups and bags and a link setup isn't needed. any information is greatly appreciated. thanks a lot.

im actually just about done with mine, cups in front and then cups in the back, if you plan on laying on the stock tires, there is A LOT of cutting for the drivshaft, and for the factory link bars, other than that it is pretty basic!! i also suggest getting new motor mounts and tranny mount to raise them up a little bit so you dont drag them as much!!

thanks for the post. i'd like to go as low as i can without having to cut the floor, maybe further in the future i will go that route. what bags are you using? i'd like to go with Slams but i'm open to everyone's thoughts. bumping this back up.

i got a 67 cadillac that lays out on 20s and i had to cut out for the drive shaft and do a 2'' notch . u have to make your own bag cups b/c theres no company that makes them

agreed with chad!!! i did a 2.5" notch on mine as well.. cups you can make your own or use some full size truck cups.

and i am using slam re7's all the way around

Also i had to do a notch in the spring pocket to clear the lower contorl arm to get it to lay .but my buddy has a 72 with disc brakes and he didn't have to notch his , so i think the disc brakes might have a factory drop spindle

I did a 59 for a customer who didnt want any of the floor cut. It sat low but was about 2 inches off the ground with tall ass fat whites.
