Whats up guys? Im building a 3-link right now for my s-dime. And im wondering if i use some of the axle brackets like the lift bars use on the SD 5-link, will it keep my pinion angle change to a minimum?

no, that will make pinion change worse. If you use those shackles like on the axle side of the lift bars, they will always be seeking equilirium of forces and will flop around.

The reason they use those on the 5 link is because the rear lift bars have a different arc of operation than the 3 forward (rigidly mounted I might add) bars and will need the adjustments provided by the shackles.

The locating bars need to be rigid. The lift bars can be mounted with shackles if the locating bars are rigid, but not otherwise.
