h22 question

i'm about to trade my bagged 88 for a 93 honda accord with an h22 i almost traded until the guy told me that 1st is where 2nd is and 3rd is where 4th is and reverse is where 5th is. it doesn't sound right to me that these gears are out of place can any body help me with whats going on with his car before i trade for a lemon.

ah fuck that honda if no one can answer the question it must be a 1ooo to fix
