I had a big problem yesterday i moved my UCA brackets up 3in so the wouldn't camber as bad so i got my new Djm upper control arms and i throw them on my truck and i lift my truck all the way up and both ball joints broke!!! Does anybody know what could have caused that!!! BTW the truck is a 98 ford f-150!!!

ball joints bound out.

We broke a balljoint on the shop F150 shortly after bagging it- the balljoint angles on the DJM arms are optimized for a static drop, so they bind with bags. We switched back to the stock uppers and had no problems.
If you've already relocated your upper mounts, maybe you can move them outward to set the overall camber angle with stock arms... yay, more fab!
Good luck!

yea... i raised my mounts on uppers and you deffinatly need custom a arms with better ball joints.. they max out realllly fast... that is why i couldnt get lift to untuck my 24's (mocked up) while being bd'd to the doors
