that makes good sence.. i was just wondering if i use seam sealer if my finger could lay a smmoth look or feel to it . if you know what i mean

you might be able to use a gouge to shape the seam sealer, best bet would be one meant for linoleum which I think you can get in craft stores.

weld it solid grind i light fill with a good quality body filler prime and paint it wont crack if it is done rite. ine has been done for two years and hasnt cracked and drag the piss out of it.

Keep a cup of water there to keep your finger moist and you will have no problems. If these guys are saying that if it is welded up good it won't crack I would trust them. I just know I am having problems with my shaved bed stake holes cracking right now from someone elses work. I hacven't ground them down yet to see what is going on though, I will be doing that when I get start the body work on the truck next winter.

ok cool. ill figure it out. its deffintly getting welded solid. which is taking forever and a day , ill post some photos later tonight when i get home

Weld everything solid not just a sheetmetal bed but also skins, door handles, gas doors, roll pans, dashes everything!

I have seen to many people get expensive paint jobs then shaved areas start cracking.

I use a 220 welder on everything and take my time.

if you use seamsealer check if it cleansup with water on your fingers,if it does do like downside said and keep your finger wet all the time,if it is hard to get off with water ,use paint thinner same routine!

haha.. its getting welded with a 220 . and itll deffintly be solid guys i know this from past experience.

seamsealer? can i get this at a local pleace? my bed is alomost ready to cover with a roll on bedliner, its welded up pretty good, so i guess i can use this seam sealer before i do the bedliner? any help would be great. thanks
