i don't know

i drove my s10 around my block after putting it back together and it ran fine for about 10 minutes then it started sputtering. i put it in park then back in drive and it ran fine. i took it back home and parked it for the night. the next day i went to go start it, it wouldn't start without me pushing the gas pedal down. and it won't run at idle. i don't know what is wrong. i have a 4.3 if anybody can help i am asking for some advice

Do you have the CPI 4.3 because I just bought a Jimmy and its givin me the same issues? Go check out that forum cuz some people give some suggestions.

i found out today that it was my temperature sensor. thanks anyway

Well for some reason I'm having the same issue even after replacing the temperature sensor. Does anyone else have any ideas? I'd greatly appreciate them cuz I just got my new tires mounted and I'm ready to actually drive it!!!!!!!!

Itll crank and wont start unless you give it some gas. It will slowly idle and sometimes die but will stay running if you keep your foot on the gas. So I've only drove it twice like this and I have to put it in neutral at the stop lights/sign so i can keep a little gas goin in. I do appreciate your concern eddie, hopefully youll be able to point me in the right direction. Thanks

does it sound funny when you hit the gas and when it idles, kind of an off rythm sputter? your timing may be off, thats the first thing i would check since its the easiest

this is the exact same thing my asro does 4.3 tbi,had a couple mechanics look at it still nothing? it seems to run better when its colder out???
