Alright. I have a leftover setup for a mustang, and I just picked up a new mustang. However, the easystreet airbags that came in the 'bolt on' kit ride like ass, and I found a new option for the bags.

Arnott makes a pretty slick looking setup... problem being that my air lines/valves and such are all 1/2". The inlet into these are 1/8". Would I run into any problems using reducers at the bag? Does anyone know of a 1/2" to 1/8" reducer?

I know they won't go as low as the bags from Easystreet, but I'm looking more at ride quality from a daily driver aspect.

Yeah its just a bushing or a coupler from one size to another.

might have to make it out of a couple fittings but you should be able to make it work

I have a huge fitting catalog in front of me. Closest they have is 1/2" tube to 1/4" NPTF then you'd have to run a 1/8 male to 1/4" female on the bag and connect the 1/2" Tube to 1/4" NPTF to that. Both fittings will be tough to find.

I think you are going to be better off finding a bushing to go from like 1/2" to 1/8" at the valve, than a 1/8" fitting in the bushing and at the bag. SD has both:

no matter what you do its gonna be really fuckin slow with 1/8" ports.

Not worried about speed. I have no intention of lifting tires off the ground.

ok get a 1/8" nipple screw it into the port. Now take a 1/8"Femalex1/2"Male bushing and screw onto it. Now you are back to 1/2" put a female 1/2"x1/2" push connect fitting or compression fitting on and your good to go.

Yeah, you may be able to make lunch while your car airs down though. haha.

The simplest way to do it will be to reduce it with a 1/2" to 1/8" bushing at the valve. that way you are only using 3 fittings total and its all common parts

That'd work good to. Just depends where he has more space for the conglomeration of fittings I guess. haha

those bags look to be made to have repalcable bellows, I would have to say the simplest way would probably be to take them apart and drill and tap the opening to 1/4 or 3/8 so you can use one fitting.

another good idea
