thanks max. mine should be the right rack, my front clip was built around that specific setup.

once i measure the length for the tierods, what do you suggest as the best way to shorten them? i really want to keep the same style tie rods i have now since it fit my rack and my tie rod adapters. i just need to find the best way to shorten the existing tie rods. any suggestions?

Hey Max. I want to put them on a 1990 Chevy S-10. But if its better to keep stock tie rods I will do that. I'm just looking for the safer more reliable rout.

Forrest- You may be forced to find a machine shop that can make you a set of tie rods that will fit your particular application... I don't know what else to say.

Andy- The S-10 has an interesting problem. The tierods, from the factory, are too long. They work well enough within the suspension's design limitations, but once we force the suspensio to lay out on some 20's the suspension toes out when lowered. We have been working on a new centerlink that will eliminate the bumpsteer issues of the S-10's, but have not yet finished it.
